The cooltouch exterior is safe to touch at all times. 1800 watts of power boil water faster than traditional methods; you can boil 1.8 L of water in about 7-8 minutes. It has a light indicator that turns off when water has finished boiling. The kettle has max-min markings inside so you can add just the amount of water you need, so no wastage occurs. The electric kettle has dry-boil protection which means it will not operate if there is no water inside. It also has an auto cut-off so the appliance will switch off on its own once the water has finished boiling.
